Prayer times for Multan
These namaz timings are calculated for Multan, Punjab, Pakistan, at 30.1575° N, 71.5249° E. Multan keeps Pakistan Standard Time (PKT, UTC+5; time zone Asia/Karachi), and Pakistan does not currently change its clocks in summer. Times are worked out on your phone for each date with the University of Islamic Sciences, Karachi method (Fajr and Isha at 18° below the horizon) and Hanafi Asr, the school followed by most Muslims in Pakistan.
Because Multan lies 3.5° west of the 75.0° E meridian on which PKT is based, the sun crosses the local meridian about 14 minutes later by the clock than it does on that meridian, so Zuhr here averages about 12:14 PM across the year. During 2027, Fajr is earliest around 12 June (3:35 AM) and latest around 11 January (5:47 AM), while Maghrib moves between 5:13 PM in November and 7:19 PM in June. The longest day of fasting, from Fajr to Maghrib, is about 15 h 43 min in June and the shortest about 11 h 38 min in December. Being far north, it sees a wide swing between short winter days and long summer days.
Multan, the 'City of Saints' in southern Punjab, is known for the shrines of Bahauddin Zakariya and Shah Rukn-e-Alam. For jama'at, follow your local masjid's timetable.
